Care providers and support staff at Central Maine Heart Associates and Central Maine Cardiovascular Surgery encourage patients to call with questions or concerns regarding care.

The offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but patients may call any time, if necessary. Patients needing a prescription refill are urged to have medication information and pharmacy contact information handy when they call. Cardiac patients in Lewiston can reach their doctor’s office at 207-753-3900. Cardiovascular surgery patients should call 207-795-8260.

Anyone experiencing pain in their chest, arm, neck or jaw, shortness of breath, or unexplained weakness, should call 911. These symptoms could be a sign of a life-threatening emergency. Do not drive to the emergency room. Emergency Medical Service (EMS) providers are specially trained to care for heart emergencies.
